CMN Hospitals to be honored as the Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Organization of the Year

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals will be honored as the Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Organization of the Year at the 2020 Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum conference to be held February 26 – 28 in Austin, Texas.

Accepting the award on behalf of CMN Hospitals, will be Mike Kinney, Managing Director of Digital Fundraising, and Elyse Meardon, Vice President of Revenue.   They’ll be interviewed at the conference by Matt Glass, CEO of Eventage, the sponsor with P2PPF of this annual award.   Past honorees have included the Alzheimer’s Association, Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Cycle for Survival program and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Program.

“Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is an incredible peer-to-peer fundraising leader whether on college campuses or in cyberspace,” said David Hessekiel, president of the Peer-to-Peer Professional Forum.   “Over the years I’ve been so impressed not only by CMN Hospitals’ analytical and executional prowess but by the generosity of spirit that the organization has shown in sharing its lessons learned with other nonprofits.

In addition to speaking to the 600+ peer-to-peer fundraising professionals that will gather in Austin, Mike Kinney will be leading a breakout session on trends in streaming fundraising and Elyse Meardon will lead a breakout session on developing and managing skilled teams.

Of particular interest to network peer-to-peer fundraising leaders will be a special summit held during the conference that will focus on creating successful programs at hospitals.
