Step up to help kids during Ace Hardware Bucket Days August 2-4 and Change Kids’ Health

Ace customers like the reward of transformation. The ability to build, create and improve. That’s why the helpful place make it easy to create lasting change, including how Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Health Jacksonville, member hospitals of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, cares for kids.

Each year, more kids need the custom care that only children’s hospitals provide. Children’s hospitals are on the frontlines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations. But they can’t do it alone.

When you step up to help kids and buy a miracle bucket at Ace Hardware, for five dollars, that donation goes to the local member hospital, Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Health Jacksonville, unlocking a world of possibilities. Allowing children the opportunity to lead healthy, fulfilling lives while also fostering the builders and creators of tomorrow.

Patients like Nathaniel, who has suffered from severe hydrocephalus, stroke and possible heart conditions while in the womb. Nathaniel’s parents were told by several doctors that he would not have a life worth living. Thankfully one said they wouldn’t know until he was here, and the family took his advice. Born at 39 weeks, Nathaniel was the biggest baby in the NICU and went through multiple surgeries over the following years. Daily struggles included severe eating, colon sight, and speech issues. Nathaniel also had cerebral palsy, mitochondria syndrome and tick disorder. Even with his sight, speech and eating challenges, Nathaniel remains positive. CMN Hospitals has helped provide many wonderful resources to Nathaniel and his family that has helped make their daily lives easier to manage. Nathaniel is now 10 years old and loves LEGOs and traveling to see his family in Germany.
