Walmart & Sam’s Club Spark Good to Change Kids’ Health

Walmart and Sam’s Club spark good to change kids’ health at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Health Jacksonville through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals). Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Health Jacksonville want to ensure kids in our community can lead healthy, fulfilling lives. But they can’t do it alone. Walmart and Sam’s Club share a basic belief – that every child deserves the chance to live better. That’s why they support CMN Hospitals in raising critical funds for local children’s hospitals to spark good and help change kids’ health.

June 12 – July 14, you can donate in-store at Walmart and Sam’s Club, on Walmart.com and in the Walmart app. Additionally, Walmart and Sam’s Club associates are the heart of the campaign, as so many have strong relationships with their local children’s hospitals. They lead creative fundraising activities and events throughout the campaign. Each dollar raised locally at Walmart and Sam’s Club help Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Health Jacksonville provide treatments and support patients desperately need today, so that they can fulfill their potential for tomorrow.

Patients like Nathaniel, who has suffered from severe hydrocephalus, stroke and possible heart conditions while in the womb. Nathaniel’s parents were told by several doctors that he would not have a life worth living. Thankfully one said they wouldn’t know until he was here, and the family took his advice. Born at 39 weeks, Nathaniel was the biggest baby in the NICU and went through multiple surgeries over the following years. Daily struggles included severe eating, colon sight, and speech issues. Nathaniel also had cerebral palsy, mitochondria syndrome and tick disorder. Even with his sight, speech and eating challenges, Nathaniel remains positive. CMN Hospitals has helped provide many wonderful resources to Nathaniel and his family that has helped make their daily lives easier to manage. Nathaniel is now 9 years old and loves LEGOs and traveling to see his family in Germany.

And Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Health Jacksonville couldn’t help kids like Nathaniel without the generosity of millions of customers and members who shop in Walmart stores, Sam’s Clubs and online.

Walmart and Sam’s Club have been proud partners of CMN Hospitals for years and have raised money locally for Wolfson Children’s Hospital and UF Health Jacksonville. Their support has brought joy and hope to kids treated in the hospital in numerous ways.
